Design Thinking 

What sets them apart is their use of design thinking and engineering to create a solution that is truly customer focused. The at Stanford University sets out 5 steps for design thinking -- Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. This team showed the strength of the design thinking with their creative solution to the struggles of homeless people.
